Vor ziemlich genau einem Jahr bekam ich \u00fcber Umwege die M\u00f6glichkeit, einer Band und einem K\u00fcnstler meine Ehre zu erweisen, indem ich einen kleinen Text \u00fcber das Konzert von Warning auf dem Hammer of Doom-Festival 2017 schreiben durfte, welcher dann in der Tape Box verwendet wurde, die Darkness Shall Rise Productions von der Band ver\u00f6ffentlichte. Was f\u00fcr eine Ehre!
Fun Fact: Als Fan von Warning und Kassetten hatte ich die Box im August 2018 bereits vorbestellt und pl\u00f6tzlich wurde ich ein kleiner Teil des gro\u00dfen Ganzen!

Ladies and gentlemen,
ich hab eine feine Neuigkeit \u2026
Darkness Shall Rise Productions <\/strong>ver\u00f6ffentlicht eine Tape-Box mit der kompletten Diskographie der gro\u00dfartigen Doom Metal-Band Warning<\/strong>. Als besonderes Highlight gibt es eine Liveaufnahme des Auftritts der Band beim 2017er Hammer of Doom-Festival exklusiv in dieser Box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Und nun kommt der Kn\u00fcller \u2026 Ich hatte die gro\u00dfe Ehre und Freude, einen Bericht \u00fcber diesen Auftritt beizusteuern, der im Einleger des Tapes abgedruckt wird!
Ich bin sehr stolz und gl\u00fccklich, dass ich einen winzigen, bescheidenen Teil zu dieser Ver\u00f6ffentlichung beitragen durfte und ich hoffe, dass ich die Chance gut genutzt habe, um meiner Liebe zu der Band im Allgemeinen und ihrem Album \u00bbWatching from a Distance\u00ab im Besonderen Ausdruck zu verleihen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wer meine Geschichte \u00bbIn Ewigkeit\u00ab\u00a0gelesen hat, wei\u00df, dass ich deren Song \u00bbFaces\u00ab erw\u00e4hnt und eine Zeile ihres Songs \u00bbBridges\u00ab als Kapiteleinleitung benutzt habe \u2026 was beweist, wie wichtig mir diese Band und ihre Musik ist. (Falls ihr mein Buch nicht gelesen haben solltet, d\u00fcrft ihr das gern jederzeit nachholen!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Um einen sehr, sehr guten Freund zu zitieren: \u00bbDie Musik von Warning ist die Definition von wahrer Sch\u00f6nheit\u00ab und wie immer, hat er recht! Wer also etwas Sch\u00f6nheit in sein Leben holen m\u00f6chte, kann die Box noch vorbestellen, die ca. Ende Januar ver\u00f6ffentlicht wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

please listen! Darkness Shall Rise Productions are releasing a tape box of one of the finest Doom Bands ever … Warning. This box includes 6 tapes with all releases by the band and it also contains the recording of their show at the Hammer of Doom that happend in 2017! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And guess what? I had the incredible pleasure and honour to contribute the live review that you can read in the inlay of the tape … Well, I’m as proud as hell to be a very, very small and humble part of this release and had the chance to (hopefully) show my love and respect for the band in general and the \u00bbWatching from a Distance\u00ab album in particular in a proper way. And as my readers might remember … I mentioned the song \u00bbFaces\u00ab and used a line from the song \u00bbBridges\u00ab as chapter introduction in my book \u00bbIn Ewigkeit\u00ab … so you’ll understand how much this music means to me. (If someone of you hasn’t read my book … feel free to grab a copy!) And to say it with the words of a very, very dear friend of mine: \u00bbWarning is the definition of true beauty\u00ab. Yes, he is right, as always. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So … if you want beauty in your life … go and pre-order the box and enjoy it. It will be released at the end of January 2019 … In the next days I’ll post a picture from the inlay with kind permission by Darkness Shall Rise Productions … <\/p>\n\n\n\n
